Tools I Use for DIY Foil Art Crafting
For a variety of ages and skill levels
TOOLS
Minc Machine (I highly prefer this for more professional use)
(Alternative: laminator)
Laminating Pouches
or you can get the starter kit for U.S. and starter kit for E.U
Reactive Foil (Has to be reactive)
I use either iCraft Deco Foil Brand or Heidi Swapp Brand
They also come in sheets
11x17 in. Printer Paper (Highly recommended! so your foil does not stick to the pouch)
Get 11x17 in paper if you want to cut it down and hand create a folder for easy use to stick everything in for easy organization through the minc machine)
(Alternative: Get 8.5 x 11 in paper for quick coverage and no foil stick to pouch)
80 lb Black or White Paper or 65 lb Colored Cardstock Paper
It depends on what is the max thickness your printer can handle. Mine for the thickest is 80 lb cardstock. Look at your printer specifications for this info. I prefer to use the Recollections brand in any color.
It can not be an inkjet printer! It has to print on a monochrome toner printer in black and white. This is key. You can use most monochrome printers but preferably I like using the Brother brand.
