Psycho & 007 Casino Royale Book Jackets

Psycho by Robert Bloch was created with main scenes from the movie kept in mind. One main scene that happened was a woman getting murdered while taking a shower where the story took a huge turn. I illustrated a bathtub drain with blood swirling down it in a minimal style. The type is expressive because it too, is swirling down the drain emphasizing the main story plot even further.

007 Casino Royale by Ian Fleming was created also by keeping the main scenes in mind. One main scene that happened was a very important poker game. It was a battle between the bad guys vs. agent 007. It is also minimal with expressive typography. The poker chip is being flown toward the type and creating a space for the "o" to fit nicely. It's showing action happening, which also emphasizes the plot.
